OSHA 29 CFR 1926 is the construction standards and it references 29 CFR 1910.178 (General Industry) which is the regulations on operating power industrial trucks (forklifts including telehandlers) This regulation requires training on the type of power industrial truck employees are going to operate.
In this training you will have a classroom session discussing the regulations, hazards and other requirements. There will also be practical training where you will demonstrate that you are able to operate the machine.
Part of this class will be conducted outside so please dress accordingly.
